Typhoon Ragasa, the 18th of the year, has intensified to super typhoon and is expected to enter the South China Sea on September 23, making landfall along Guangdong's central-western coast on the 24th. Affected by Ragasa, Zhongshan will see a period of heavy to torrential rain, with some areas experiencing extreme rainfall, from the night of the 23rd through the 25th. Wind gusts are forecast to strengthen gradually to force 10–12.
Zhongshan has already announced the suspension of classes on September 23 and 24, and starting the evening of the 23th, the city will implement the "five suspensions" measure including suspending classes, work, production, transport and business operations citywide. Authorities are urging residents to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary outings, stock up on at least three days of emergency supplies (including at least four liters of drinking water per person, ready-to-eat food, and essential medications), reinforce doors and windows, and familiarize themselves with the nearest emergency shelters in advance.
To help the public respond effectively, the “Zhongshan Plus” platform has launched a dedicated Typhoon Defense Service. By scanning a QR code, residents can track the real-time path of Ragasa, learn safety tips, and access information on emergency shelters and relief services across the city.

今年第18號臺風“樺加沙”已加強為超臺風級，預計將在9月23日進入南海，24日登陸廣東中西部沿海。受“樺加沙”影響，中山23日夜間至25日有一次大暴雨，局部特大暴雨降水過程，陣風逐漸加大至10至12級。
目前，中山23日、24日實施停課，23日晚開始實施“五停”（即停課、停工、停業(yè)、停市、停運），建議廣大市民減少外出，備齊至少3天的應急物資（每人至少4升飲用水，方便食品和常用藥品），加固門窗并提前熟悉周邊的應急避難場所。
